Well...it's been a long journey over these last 2 years. All of us have been playing music most of our lives, and it's what we've always wanted to do with our lives. The band formed, nameless, in the summer of '02. For a few months the music was headed in a completely different direction than where it is today. Then in that September, frontman and vocalist, Jonathan Whittaker joined what was soon after named Born 2 Nothing. The first couple of months were rough due to personal and family problems, but the first few songs were written. Then in late December, early January, Born 2 Nothing found itself without a drummer. Striving for nine months with several other drummers, and only writing one song, the band knew it was time to get back to our roots. That's when Lance returned to our midst, and with only two weeks before our first gig. Needless to say, the show was great. Over the last year we have played constantly, and written new material. Sadly, despite the demand, we have never recorded a demo. It seemed that every time we tried to get time, we had too many shows to play. It's still amazing how busy we've been with no demo, but that changed. We hit the studio on December 3rd 2004 to record our first EP entitled "Do You Know My Name", after our popular song. The EP includes the songs; "Do You See", "Do You Know My Name", "Pain Perception", and "Bleed For Me". Everyone seems to have enjoyed it so far.............. 3/19/06 - Starting Over - Well..in late Dec Johnny decided to leave the band for reasons unknown...Leaving the rest of the band wondering "Now What?".. After several months of auditioning singers..they recieved a call from St. Petersburg,Florida of all places... Curt was living in the Florida..Plam trees and white sands(and Florida STRIPPERS!!)..and was looking for a change of scenery...He had previously lived in Longview was considering moving back to the area. A friend of his mentioned to him that B2N was looking for a singer and after hearing a fiew songs ....he moved his ass down to TX...... So here we are......and where will we go???
